CARES, a well-known social services organization in the community, is excited to announce the launch of a hiring initiative for its Family Peer Support Services (FPSS) program. Aimed at empowering families raising children who are experiencing social, emotional, developmental and/or behavioral challenges, this career opportunity is rooted in a simple yet powerful idea: your life experience can transform the lives of others.
We're seeking individuals who’ve walked this path—parents, siblings, caretakers, and close family members of those with mental health needs, behavioral challenges and/or developmental disabilities. If you fall into the above categories, then you are eligible to be trained and paid as a CARES Family Peer Advocate (FPA), where you can bring real understanding to families navigating similar journeys.
CARES is offering you a remarkable opportunity: a fully-paid training program towards becoming a certified FPA. This means earning while you learn, gaining professional certification while providing support from day one—all with the flexibility to make your schedule work for you. With CARES, you’ll turn your personal experience into a pathway to help others flourish.
● 18-Month Paid Training: Embark on a training program that not only pays you as you learn but also leads to certification as an FPA.
● Personalized Flexibility: The FPA role is designed to fit into your life, allowing you to tailor your work schedule around your lifestyle.
● Professional Pathways: Becoming an FPA with CARES isn’t just about finding a job; it’s about turning life’s challenges into a fulfilling career.
